One of the most significant events in the town of Kazanlak, which is held annually and echoes in many countries worldwide, is the Rose Festival! The event itself serves as a prerequisite for meetings, lectures and conferences dedicated to the topic “Bulgarian oleaginous rose – history, traditions and science”. Other oleaginous cultures are also being discussed, such as: lavender, chamomile, common balm, etc., which have long-lasting traditions for Bulgarians and have been well established on the international markets. 

In addition, the town of Kazanlak hosts numerous cultural events such as rock concerts, folklore dance competitions, beauty contests, children’s animation, sports events, backgammon tournaments, ballet dances, etc.


Amateur groups of artists organize Rose-picking rituals in the rose gardens of villages nearby Kazanlak. Against small fees, tourists are able to participate in authentic rituals related to rose-picking and rose-brewage.
Zornitza Company EOOD will also host its own stand at the perfumery exchange which will be held between 31st of May and 2nd of June in the Museum of Roses in Kazanlak.
Visitors and guests of Kazanlak will have the opportunity to get acquainted with and to try natural cosmetic trademark products such as: natural rose + shea creams with rose water, natural creams with rose oil and grape-seeds oil. There will also be bleaching creams based on rose oil and extracts from brown seaweeds, body lotions, bath salts and many other SPA products.
The company’s show room in the village of Enina (post code 6141), 1 Onufriy Hilendarski Street (right in the village’s center) will also be open from 8 to 17. We are expecting you!
